Get Started

To start taking courses at Moreno Valley College, Norco College, or Riverside City College, follow the directions on each colleges' website to complete an application and register. Students interested in only taking noncredit courses should not apply for financial aid, as courses are tuition-free. 

Please apply to only one college. Once you have completed the application process, you can take courses at any of the three colleges in the district. We look forward to seeing you in class!

Schedule of Classes​​

Register for Classes

After completing an application​, you must wait 1 to 2 business days to receive your official welcome email with your MyPortal​ ​login information.​ The email will contain your RCCD student ID number, which is needed to active your My Portal account. All students register for both noncredit and credit courses in MyPortal or EduNav.​


How to Register using MyPortal:

​Step​​​ 1:  Login to MyPortal

Step 2: Open the 'Student' menu under and click "Registration" and then select "Register and Drop Classes"

Step 3: A window will come up with various options - select "Search and Register for Classes."

Step 4: In order to search for class(es), you must fill in the: 

(1) Term,

(2) Location, and 

(3) an additional field (ex. Subject and/or course number) and then click (4) "Submit." 

The example in the photo, the student is interested in registering in CIS-830. You may search for one class at a time, or you may search may search for up five subjects at a time. 


Step 5: Once you find the course you are interested​ in registering for. Select the box under the select column (left side) and click "Submit."

If you'd like to keep adding more classes, select "Go Back" on the top left corner until you can search for a new course. Ensure you change the subject and course number.

Step 6: Next, once you have added the courses to your class list, change the action status for each course to (1) "Register" and (2) select "Submit."

Step 7: Lastly, the next window will display the changes that have been made. The classes you intended to register followed by sections of classes that you are currently registered. Select "Ok" once reviewed.

​How to Register using EduNav:

​Step​​​ 1:  Login to MyPortal

Step 2: Open the 'Student' menu under and click "Registration" and then select "Register and Drop Classes"

Step 3: A window will come up notifying that you will be redirected to Riverside Community College District's improved education planning and registration experience. Click the "Continue" button to be redirected to EduNav.

Step 4: Next, we want to add your preferred courses. Click on "Add a Course" under the semester you intend to register.

Step 5: Search for courses, sections, or instructors. Select class and click "Add."

For example, student is interested registering for CIS-830: Intro to Python Programming: Part I. The student will enter CIS-830 into the search box. Next, the student will select the course, and select "Add" to add the course to their schedule.

Repeat step 4 and 5 for each class you would like to add your schedule.

Step 6: Once all classes have been added, select "Register." The button will turn blue when you are ready to register. 

If the "Register" button is not available, your registration date may be available at a later day.
